Making Mandalas for Inner Peace

mandalalala-inprogressI have always been attracted to mandalas, ever since I watched some monks making them out of colored sand once when I was a kid. (If you haven’t seen that, you NEED to check out the video at the end of the post…)

The process of just watching was so meditative, I knew that making them myself would be incredible.

It’s the focus, the concentration, the counting, even… and then resulting in something so pretty and peaceful is so incredibly rewarding.


mandalalalaSo here’s one I finished this week. I’m going to be teaching some mandala classes in the coming weeks, so I decided I needed to really start focusing on different styles and methods. I’m super excited to share this with you!
